Model Submission Policy
Accepted 3D file formats: STL, OBJ and 3MF
We accept common 3D file formats including .stl, .obj, and .3mf. Files should be watertight, manifold, and suitable for additive manufacturing. If a file is not print-ready, you may request file preparation services, which may incur additional fees.
3D model ownership & licensing
By submitting a file, you represent and warrant that you own the intellectual property rights to the design or have obtained all necessary licenses and permissions to manufacture it. You retain ownership of your model at all times.
You agree not to submit designs that infringe third-party intellectual property rights, violate applicable laws, or breach any third-party agreements.
Safety, legality & prohibited 3D models
Designs intended to create weapons, weapon components, regulated items, or objects that pose a significant risk of injury or harm are strictly prohibited. Vextrix3D reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse, suspend, or cancel any order that is deemed unsafe, unlawful, or non-compliant, without obligation to provide detailed justification.
3D file inspection & printability modifications
Submitted files may be reviewed for printability. Minor technical adjustments, such as mesh repairs, wall-thickness corrections, or orientation changes, may be applied at our discretion to improve print success.
Any substantial modifications affecting geometry, function, or appearance will be communicated to you for approval prior to printing.
AI-assisted model review
We may use AI-assisted tools to help review submitted model information, identify potential printability issues, estimate production requirements, prepare quotes, and support customer service. AI-assisted tools may process technical information about your submitted model, quote details, selected materials, quantities, and any description or instructions you provide.
AI-assisted review is used to support our process and does not replace manual review by Vextrix3D. Final decisions about printability, pricing, order acceptance, and production are reviewed by Vextrix3D.
We do not intentionally use submitted customer models, uploaded files, or personal data to train public AI models. Where third-party AI providers are used, their processing is limited to providing the requested AI-assisted service to Vextrix3D, subject to their applicable data processing terms.
Uploaded file storage & retention
Uploaded files are stored securely and retained by Vextrix3D after order completion for customer support, reprints, order history, and internal record keeping. You may request deletion of your uploaded files, and we will review such requests subject to legal, accounting, dispute-resolution, and operational requirements.
