Modelling from a sketch
A customer arrives with a drawing, a photo, or a description of the part they need. You turn it into a model that can actually be printed.
Repairing an STL
Non-manifold edges, flipped normals, holes, wall thickness that will never survive a nozzle. Files that came out of a scanner or a hobby tool and are nearly there.
Reverse engineering a part
A broken bracket, a discontinued fitting, a component nobody sells any more. Measured, modelled, and made printable.
Making a model printable
Orientation, wall thickness, tolerances, clearances, split lines for parts bigger than the bed. The judgement between a model that looks right and one that comes off the printer right.

Real parts, not renders
Everything you model gets printed and posted to somebody. You find out whether it worked, which is not something most freelance CAD work tells you.
Paid per job, through the platform
The fee is agreed before you start and credited to your wallet when the work is accepted. Withdrawals go straight to your bank through Stripe.
Work from anywhere
Our customers are in the UK; you do not have to be. The work is files, and it moves at the speed of your internet connection.

You are not undercutting six strangers for a job. We bring you the work, and the rate is a conversation rather than a race downwards.
How Joining Works

Send your application
The form below. A portfolio link, a few examples, and a paragraph about the work you do - that is the whole of it.

We read it
A person, not a filter. Expect a few days rather than a few minutes, and an answer either way.

You get an invitation
An email with a link that sets up your designer account. You choose a password, or sign in with Google or Facebook.

You verify who you are
A one-off government-ID check through Stripe Identity. You will be working on models our customers own, so we have to know who is holding them.

Work and get paid
Jobs are agreed with you directly. What you earn lands in your Vextrix3D wallet, and you withdraw it to your own account.
What We Look For
A portfolio beats a CV
We would rather see four parts you modelled and why you made the choices you did than a list of years. Hobby work counts. Coursework counts. A printer in your spare room and a folder of things you have fixed counts.
What we cannot judge is an application with nothing attached and no link, so send something we can look at.
